You may have never watched the films, but you have probably heard of “The Conjuring Universe”. This an American horror franchise and shared universe centered on a series of supernatural horror films.
The main series, follow the couple, Edward and Lorraine Warren, on their attemps to assist people, who find themselves being harassed by spirits. and focus on the origins of some of the entities the Warrens have encountered.
Assuming you were paying attention while watching any of the films, you have read various times, that these are based on real life events, and that is because Edward Warren Miney and Lorraine Rita Warren existed, and were paranormal investigators. The films are indeed a present dramatisation of their ‘supposed’ real-life experiences.
That being said, if you have already watched all the films that constitute this paranormal universe, but you would like to know more about them, I would give the series “Connecticut” a shot.
